Dr Juan Lopez, Professor,
Arizona State University |
We warmly welcome Dr. Juan Lopez,
Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the
Arizona State University as Visiting Scientist from 6 January to 4
July 2005. His expertise lies in the areas of computational fluid
dynamics, hydrodynamics instabilities, nonlinear dynamics and
bifurcation theory, and interfacial hydrodynamics. Dr.
Lopez publishes widely in premier international journals, such as
the Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Physics of
Fluids, Journal of Computational Physics, Physical Review E, etc.
Dr. Lopez's visit will certainly be
beneficial for the department and will
enhance the department's research in
experimental and computational fluid dynamics.
All interested, particularly those working in the
