(ii) The prestigious Defense Technology Prize for team effort in 1998 was awarded to the Underwater Shock Technology Program, Singapore.

(iii) Literati Club Awards for Excellence 1999 for "Numerical Simulation of turbulent flow in an axisymmetric diffuser with a curved surface center-body" published in International Journal of Numerical Methods for Heat and Fluid Flow.
